Silicon Drive Launches World’s First Five-Camera Array Integration
As part of the creative and marketing team to launch the world’s first ever five-camera array smartphone for Light, Silicon Drive’s role was to pull the company through to the finish line with a robust social media strategy and CEO keynote at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
It was a great privilege to be called in as a hired gun and fast turn execution team to assist Light’s CEO, Dave Grannan, build the keynote that would ultimately be one of the biggest announcements at MWC Barcelona 2019. Light had kept this partnership under wraps for months, and three weeks before the big announcement, Silicon Drive worked with the CEO, Marketing Director and Head of Product to work out a 15 minute keynote, social media strategy, and sales deck presentation that would support Light’s smartphone initiative to integrate its computational imaging software and ASIC chip into top smartphone devices.
As part of the challenge, our team was tasked to revitalize social media channels that stayed dormant for the past 4 months on Instagram and had only seen one post on LinkedIn since Light’s Series D announcement in Summer 2018. Because the company had a business shift from a consumer lens to enterprise partnerships, messaging, interactions, and creative needed to be aligned and tracked. The company needed fresh understanding of its new target audience and increase engagement on different channels, while still maintaining its popularity with consumer audiences.
In continuing to work with Light, Silicon Drive is acting as a marketing partner to fill the gaps on the team to support the Marketing Director.
